Troop 60 Eagle Court of Honor for Justin Bailey and Dylan Turner was held on Sunday October 25th at the Monroe Central Jr.Sr. High School Auditorium.
DYLAN JAMES TURNER recently received Boys Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout.
A member of Parker United Methodist Church and Farmland Lions Club, he is a member of Troop 60 in the Golden Eagle district.
Turner, 16, is a junior at Monroe Central Junior-Senior High School, Farmland, and is the son of Donald and Jackie Turner of Farmland.
He earned the rank after demonstrating leadership in his troop and completing the required 21 merit badges.
For his Eagle Scout Service Project, Turner, with the assistance of his father, worked with Farmland Conservation Club to repair the archery stand steps and foot bridges and replaced signs, bow hangers and a bench.
Turner has been a scout for 10 years and has served his troop as patrol leader, historian, quartermaster and assistant senior patrol leader.
