BSA Troop 60 :: Boy Scout Troop of Farmland and Parker City, Randolph County, Indiana

Troop 60 will visit WLBC for a tour of their facility on Monday, Jan. 25th at 5pm. Scouts that need a ride to WLBC will need to be at Steve Oliphant’s house in Parker City between 4 and 4:30pm. We will promptly leave at 4:30pm. If you want to meet the Troop at WLBC, please be there by 5pm.

Troop 60 scouts and leaders are being called to duty at the Farmland Lions Club to help Ethan with his Eagle Scout Project this Saturday, January 9th at 10am. Be there! (we’ll be painting, so wear appropriate attire)

Troop 60 is happy to announce that future Eagle Scout Mitchell Dudley completed his Eagle Scout Project recently.

Nov 21

Troop 60 held a merit badge workshop as part of the lock-in held at the Parker City United Methodist Church on Friday, Nov. 20th to Saturday morning, Nov. 21st. The boys played various XBOX 360 games in between sessions on the Home Improvement merit badge. The boys also enjoyed a new indoor ‘comandos’-type game called ‘Groggs’ at 2am in the morning. Food for the event included hot dogs, nachos, candy, cinnamon rolls and cereal in the morning.

Troop 60 met at Frank Turner’s house Monday night, Oct. 26th, for a campfire program put on by Dalton Oliphant for his Communications Merit Badge requirement.

Troop 60 Eagle Court of Honor for Justin Bailey and Dylan Turner was held on Sunday October 25th at the Monroe Central Jr.Sr. High School Auditorium.

DYLAN JAMES TURNER recently received Boys Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout.
